Mercer & Co is a contemporary Salt Beef Bar and Canteen located in the historic Chapel Market in Angel, Islington.

We offer a wide-ranging and delicious breakfast and lunchtime menu as well as organic coffee, spectacular smoothies and our very own, unique fermented cocktails. At the heart of our menu sits our unbeatable, home-made Salt Beef and we’ve complemented this with a range of mouth-watering, rustic, homemade dishes.

Mercer & Co values art and culture and actively supports KELDER, a non-profit curatorial project space located within the site that looks to expand art and other creative activities in the area. Music is an important element of the cafê and we host a variety of spontaneous events and impromptu happenings.
